Norwich terrier noun[ C ] uk /ˌnɒr.ɪtʃ ˈter.i.ər/ us /ˌnɔːr.wɪtʃ ˈter.i.ɚ/ a type of terrier(= a small dog that was once used to chase animals into or out of holes) from Great Britain with red or brown fur and ears that stand up: Norwich terriers are very friendly dogs and make great companions.
