There is at least one blue zone in the US, a small area about 60 miles outside of Los Angeles. He is an 104-year-old Sardinian, and in this blue zone of Sardinia the older you get, the more celebrated you are. He claimed that people among the “blue zone” populations generally eat meat only a few times a year.
